Our Tutors are trained to educate students on effective study and exam-taking skills, as well as how to be counselors.  Tutors are encouraged to be:

Tutors are also obligated to follow a set of guidelines, which include:

 

1.         Encourage students to attend MLER every week and take all exams.

 

2.         Encourage students to enroll in a commercial bar review course.

 

3.         Encourage students to create and follow a study schedule and to review said schedule with tutors.

 

4.        Make positive comments to students.

 

5.         Calling students each week.

 

6.         Maintaining a positive attitude regarding the  student's success on the exam.

 

7.          Commit to be attending your assigned session every week.

 

FOR STUDENTS...

 

Our students are provided with a wide range of services to assist in their success on the bar exam.  Our professional tutors work throughout the process to address academic and personal needs.  However, students are taught early that their success will depend on their personal dedication and commitment to the Program, and are asked to abide by the following guidelines, amongst others:

 

1.         Attend MLER every week and take all exams.

 

2.         Enroll in a commercial bar review course.

 

3.         Create and follow a study schedule and review it with tutors.

 

4.         Repeater students are strongly encouraged turn in all homework assignments.

  

5.         Maintain a POSITIVE mental attitude, believing in your success, and making a commitment to become an MLER tutor once you have passed the bar.
