MLER Alumni

The Bar Preparation Program is only the first step in MLER’s commitment to your success as a lawyer. Because diversity remains a serious issue for the legal profession, MLER is dedicated to connecting people and resources within the various factions of the Chicago legal community. But we cannot do that without your help. Therefore, we ask that you, first, stay connected to the MLER network of alumni and supporters. Second, we ask that you stay involved with our diversity efforts. Your involvement will pay dividends by strengthening diversity partnerships between employers and MLER alumni.

Staying Involved

Volunteering as a Bar Exam Tutor is one of the more familiar ways that MLER can use
your help. However, there are several other:

Coordinate a site visit to your law school, law firm, or organization.
Enroll MLER in your employer’s gift matching program or charity initiative.
Present your experience with MLER at our upcoming school visits.
Make an in-kind donation (e.g., printing costs) to help facilitate the Bar Exam Preparation Program. Please visit the “Donations” page for more details.
